# How to add text


### Adding text to the template:
 
* Choose a project or start a new one by pressing on [+Template](https://help.zoomerang.app/en/article/how-to-create-a-tutorial-1m0gon7/?1607430096265)

* After you will notice an editing panel at the bottom of your screen where you will see options with which you can add elements to your video

* Click on the text and press the **Text** button in the panel to make changes. Here you will see the following tools:

**Keyboard** - if you want to add a text or emoji to your template or make changes in it 
**Style** - allows you to choose the colors, background, and everything else connected with the letters' styles
**Fonts** - this will help you to choose the correct font for your text
**Animation** - here you can choose the type of animation for the text

* After you have made the appropriate edits, you can press **V**

*Note: If you added more than one textbox, chosen the appearance, but want all the texts to look the same, press **Apply to All** button*

* On the editing panel, you will see these tools that will help work further with the textbox

**Editable | Split | Normal | Animation | Transform | Opacity | Pin To Face | Linear | Text | Duplicate | Remove**

* Once you proceed with the shooting, you will see a page before posting where you have the option to edit the text again if needed

* After the final editing touches, press **Post** and shoot or add a source to which the text will be added

* You can also press the icon next to the **Post** to save or share your template to your device or any social media the app offers
