How to use the Overlay feature
Working with Overlays
In order to add a little entertainment to your video/template, we advise you to use our overlay option!
Here is how to find it:
Choose a project or start a new one by pressing on +Template
After proceeding with the steps, you will notice an Editing Panel at the bottom of your screen with the following options:
Slowmo | Pause | Text | Overlays | Shape | AI Effect | AI Effect | Filter | Adjust | Format | Beauty | Music | Canvas | Format
Click the Overlays icon
Now, you can choose between:
Your Media (Videos/Photos) - you can choose photos and videos from your device and add them on your template as an overlay
Pexels (Stock Videos/Photos) - here you will see categories for photos and videos and can search for what you wish to add on the template
Note: when choosing the video option you will need to select the desired part by swiping through the video
AI image - you can search the photo you want to have, then press Generate button, and it will show you one
Choose the appropriate part where you wish to add the overlay by swiping through the video track
Then, select the right sizing, rotation level and the preferred part of the video
When you click on the effect, you will see the following options: Editable | Hint | Split | Normal | Animation | Transform | Opacity | Segmentation | None | Mask | Shape | Color | Border | Corner | Fill | Chromakey | Pin To Face | Linear | Maintrack | Replace | Duplicate | Remove
Lastly, press on Post and either save it to your device/send it to your friends or make a template (depends on what you have chosen earlier)
